    V berth condensation solutions

Vetus portholes look nice. I'm wondering how they seal on the raised portion in v berth being that it's curved, you must have to keep porthole size fairly small. Also it requires a large hole, has anyone that's completed this project had problems worth mentioning? Thanks.

    V berth condensation solutions

I would like to deal with the condensation issue in the v berth and am curious what the best solutions are for this common problem. The mushroom style vents seem effective but cutting a large hole in my boat is not really high on my list of cool things to do. Is the spray insulation an effective...

Vinyl posts for rod storage on Cabin

I've built a pvc roof rack that i have attached a rod holder too. There is a picture in my album of the roof rack before the rod holder attachment. All i used was a plastic three tube holder and clamped it to the side of the rack with an angle bracket for reinforcement. The rack has also been...

    LOOSE SCREWS !!!

I've had good luck with oversizing the hole and filling with marine tex epoxy than drilling an undersize hole in epoxy before its extremely hard and attaching hardware.

Been looking at pics of all the mods you have done

One mod I really get alot of use out of is my PVC roof rack with wood dowels inserted covered in silicon. Very cheap and easy to build. Great way to get things like crab or prawn traps out of the way. I also pack most things in like sized rubbermaid containers which stack and strap down nicely...

    Pit Bull ATTACK

What bothers me the most is when you hear pitbull owners say things like, oh my dog would never harm a fly, it is so good, it's harmless. I once witnessed one Of my friends Pitbulls kill two Irish setters out at a campsite, angus as he was named would never hurt a fly as we were told he is so...

    perfect prop

I agree 13.5x15 seems to be the perfect Prop for my 80 hp 22 cruiser as well. I wouldn't spend the money on stainless either, it's just not worth it.

    25 cruiser fuel consumption?

Anyway you look at it these boats go farther on less fuel than most other boats out there. I just returned from a lengthly trip down the grenville channel from prince Rupert playing around in areas in which the only other boats seen were tugboats, ferries or 50 Plus foot yachts. In these days of...

    Wallas stove parts

Rf-500tb-12560 is the motor part number made by mabuchi. This motor is used for the hood fan and the combustion fan. Purchased from the other well known wallas supplier would lighten your wallet by more than $100. Sending your wallas in for motor replacement would cost a few hundred.

For those of you who have one how often do you really use it? Would you consider it one of those essential instruments or is it's importance fading considering all the modern tools used for weather forecasting in use these days.
