Hello All, We loaded up the Allyson Marie at the Wahweap ramp Tuesday morning after spending a week. I'm sorry we didn't run into more C-Brats on the lake. Just like a rain dance, It's all in the timing. We did run into Dave and Donna on Patriot at the ramp and bumped into Les Lampmen in...

Mike, Thanks for the heads up. I went ahead and ordered and received the new aluminum thermostat cover and also got a spare thermostat just in case. I'll make sure I've got spare fuses also. Lake Powell is no place to be stranded (or anywhere for that matter) Thanks, Mike Allyson Marie

    Brakes and Props

Hello All, I am reluctant to reply on this subject (Electric Brakes) because I get flamed about how they have been used on travel trailers and they just won't be reliable on boat trailers (especially in salt water ) I realize where people are coming from and their reasoning behind it...

    EFI Honda 90 help!

Steve, Thanks for the heads up on the part numbers. I transposed the numbers, but as I understand it the correct number of the aluminum thermostat cover is 19315-ZY9-000. If it is not then what is it? I was told that the correct thermostat for the Block (60 degree) was 193-ZW9-003. So...

Ordered MARINCO GFCI, received LEVITON in MARINCO packaging

I suspect that this is Marinco Issue because I ordered a Marinco GFCI receptacle from West Marine Last year and instead received a Leviton GFCI that you could buy at Lowes for $10. In fact I had an identical GFCI in my tool box. But hey, it came in a Marinco labeled bubble-pack so it must be...

Jim, I'm really glad that you guys appear to be ok. Believe me I know the feeling. I have been rear-ended 5 (count'em) 5 times sitting at red lights. As a result, I have chronic lower back pain and am on pain meds 24/7. The last time I was rear-ended (Dec 07) we were sitting at a red...

    Fuel odor in cockpit!

Hello All, I have a Safety Issue with fuel odor in the cockpit. When I unsnap the cockpit cover after setting all night or anytime after I first remove the cockpit cover I can detect a strong odor of what seems to be stale gasoline. Help! I found a 1" dia. spot under the brass keel guard

Tyboo Mike, Thanks for your info!. Now that I think about it, the fact that the area in question appears to be perfectly circular and symmetrical with the keel guard makes sense as the most probable reason. If I had not looked under the boat, I would not have seen it. (Out of sight, Out...
