    Fridge Problem

Thanks for the above advice. Took the entire unit to the repair guy today. Then, I took it home again! What was to be a $350 repair turned into a $566 repair. The guy insisted that it was worthwhile to fix it at half the cost of a new one. I just didn't feel right and when he insisted on a...

    Fridge Problem

The fridge is great, until like anything else it becomes a severe pain when it decides to be uncooperative. Ours has a different problem from the one posted above...it cools to a point...the compressor runs, but it never shuts off, regardless of the thermostat position. I called our local...

    05/17 - 05/20 - 4th Annual Delta/Bay Extravaganza

They planted salmon in the lake a few years back and now it is apparently OK to harvest...if you have the prerequisite skills...I might need a bit of tutelage. I posted a pic of the lake in the gathering album from our second day.

    05/17 - 05/20 - 4th Annual Delta/Bay Extravaganza

What an excellent adventure! We just returned home from a few days at Lake Isabella...a diversion on the way down the 5 Fwy (certainly not the same as cruising with y'all on the Delta and SF Bay). Just uploaded a few more pictures to the cruise album. Had it not been for recent changes in...

Towing with the aft leaning bimini top

Hey Mike, -ours has an extra layer of fabric to cover the skylights we added on our trip to lake mojave a couple of seasons ago. we now remove the whole shootin' match and secure it in the cabin for long-distance trips...it may have cabin fever on our arrival to Rio Vista, but no more holes! The answer to this is probably pretty obvious...is there any need to have an inflatable aboard? Sam

Hey Roger, That "weekend" was pegged for Catalina...but if anyone (Bob would be great company, I'm sure) would consider staying Mon-Wed...we would be up for a trip North...even though we really miss Catalina. Wish we could be there Sat and Sun...working weekends rots. Sam and Kerry

    08/20 - 08-26 - Catalina Adventure in Paradise 2006

We're in...Sun. thru Wed....would like to stay the whole week if we can swing it. Just got back from the Isthmus yesterday. They are building a new pier (just like the old pier) which should be finished by April, so they say. The dinghy docks may be reconfigured and they plan to have a dock...

Hi and questions about C-Dory - any divers out there?

Hi Paul, We have used our 22 ft. cruiser for diving for about 2 years (how time flies when your on a C-Dory). 2 diving is fine...3 is a crowd and 4 would probably end in bandaged elbows and foul language. We have a port side, stern mounted swim step with a 3 rung ladder (not an option with...
