I'm thinking of using my laptop as a chartplotter as far as I understand I need to purchase software (was thinking of Fugawi Marine software) then I'll need gps for the laptop so here's the question is there a way to connect my Garmin 182C to the laptop or do I need to buy something else thanks...

I have a 92 50hp Evinrude it was swapped from power trim to tiller controls I believe it works in reverse most marine shops have lots of this old motors kicking around
