    Battery Location

Just a question. Why don't many C-brats put their batteries on the floor between the fuel cells in battery boxes. I did it years ago and they are easy to access and maintain plus I still have a live well and extra storage in the unused lazzaret. :?: :idea

    Horsepower size

Chica, It was Clemens marina in Portland phone # 503-655-0160. They didn't say one word to me about not putting it on my boat. I also talked in person with a c-dory rep and he saided it shouldn't be an issue. The Yamaha 115 weighs less than the honda 115 when I converted my motor. Two strokes...

    Horsepower size

After running my 115 Yamaha on Coop's Cruiser for while now. I feel I made a great move up-powering. You don't have to run WOT to produce a decent time saving cruising speed. :idea I turn about 4600 rpm to produce around 26 mph, that's loaded with three adults 50 of fuel and all the other...

Trim sensors not working - older Hondas

I had that problem with my 90 hp once. a little wd40 spray on the black lever looking thing by the power tilt ram cleared it up. It was just a little sticky.

    Repower Yamaha 90 two stroke!

I repowerd with a f115 this year and I love it. I don't think they still make a f100. Weight hasn't been an issue since I replaced a Honda 90 the difference was only 37 lbs.

    oh no another prop ?

Solas four blade is the way to go. They are the thickest aluminum props I've seen. Went trough two comprops in one trip to Canada at 90 bucks a piece it was a spending trip. Solas are $120 with shipping I have yet to bend one.

    Fish box..????

There's approx. one inch clearance between the motor and the fish box at full tilt. About making more of them, I used my boats splash well as the mold. So I'm pretty sure to get that custom fit you would want to use your own boat as it's mold. E-mail me and I will tell you the steps needed to...

I made my port side lazerette into a wonderful live well. I bought a through hull live well pump installed it and ran the hose to the upper part of the lazerette with a spray bar for airation. To conatin the water I ran a 8" tube that I can screw into the drain hole when needed. I set up the...

    Downrigger

Doug, I also have two scotty's gunnel mounted with swivels. Swivel mounts are the way to go, you can travel down the road (I pivot them 180 degrees for travel) you can adjust rod angle and they add height to the downrigger itself. I think some models of scotty's come with a free swivel mount at...

    I really love my wife

8 hp plenty on a 22' cruiser, look at the yamaha T-8. They have it in an electric start and power tilt. You also can't go wrong with the honda. I use a front bar to connect the motors. It works great about $25.00 at any marine store. Oh ya I love my wife too.

    Axle location

You don't really need to move the axle's. Move the Bow stand forward or back until you get to the proper tounge weight. If you can't get the proper tounge weight then mess with axle's or if the boat hangs to far back off the end of trailer. I just went through this when I re-trailerd last...
