I had range issues with my radio soon after I acquire my boat, my probleme was the antenna cable was fray at the bend where the cable enter the base. I couldn't find a good way to fix it so I just replace the antenna and that solve my range issues.

I do like Current-C Will also be a good one while using the vhf radio, not that the other suggestion are not good.

I have the same floor panel on my 2006 22 cruiser, I like having the option to lift/remove to clean underneath, they are not attach to anything. On the water, you can remove one at a time to clean that half, or on land they can be taken out of the boat entirely. I have a roof over the cockpit...

Would that also interfere with the GPS signal for the chart plotter? I guess there is the option of adding a remote GPS antenna, or a 3ft mast for the VHF antenna.

The fan was installed by the previous owner, I don't think it's a known name brand, most likely not available anymore. In a quick search, I did not find any comparable.

The Fans are great, if it's raining, they are on.

That is my setup on my 2006, probably similar to what you saw at the boat show. It work great for me and I can't think of better option. Let me know if you need better picture or anything else, boat is not the easiest to get to but I'll try. Good luck on your project.
