    dingy weight

I say lighter is better. Any more than 50 lbs and it becomes awkward and you will not want to use the dinghy as much therefore impeding your FUN. I have the little west marine wood slat model, its adequate. RU460 or something like that.

    Dehumidifiers

I vote for the large stand up dehum. with the reservoir. Had one on our racing sailboat, which was not very watertight when it rained. I would empty the reservoir once a week in the winters. Make sure you get one rated for below 50 degrees. Or else it will Ice up if it gets around 50 degrees...

west marine ru-260 bought it last year, seems fine. 51lbs pretty easy to hoist on the roof of the tomcat.

Fish tank removal on Tom Cat

How about a Beckson or similar style hatch in the floor of the fish box? I just researched a couple sizes that would be nicely sized and allow access under the box. They look relatively watertight. Just a though

    Another Non-Skid Thread

I have heard good things about Kiwigrip as well. Very minimal surface preparation is required.

    Edge trim

I've noticed a lot of silicone used on my 2006 tomcat. Had a leaking front window in the bunk, pulled it out, just bedded with a bunch of silicone. In this application it appeared rather shoddy. I like 4200 for stuff that might be removed and 5200 obviously for more permanent stuff when bedding.

    Best very small dinghy motor

Honda 2hp, use it on my moore 24 sailboat, moves it no prob. 2000lbs.
