Cost for both steps was $2k. I'm not at the boat right now but will try to post pictures later. The new steps look similar to the originals but are much sturdier.

I had a fiberglass shop here in Annapolis build and install two new steps. I decided to go with the same size and a slightly different non-skid pattern. It wasn't cheap but I am very happy with the results.

September is a great time to explore the Chesapeake, especially after Labor Day when there is less boating traffic. I've been boating out of Annapolis for the past ten years and hurricanes/tropical storms are few and far between.

I've kept my CD25 in the water year round in Annapolis since 2007. The first year I kept the motor down but didn't like the growth I got on the motor. Since then, I've kept the motor tilted up with no problems.

I've got the same problem with my 150. I originally tried to touch it up but decided it doesn't look that bad. As long as the engine continues to run well - I'm a happy camper!

I would definitely check the bottom. I keep my CD-25 in the water year round here in Annapolis and even though the bottom is painted it will become fouled when sitting. Performance can drop by as much as 10 knots. My top speed is ~30 knots when the bottom is just painted and as low as 20 knots...

Just want to give an update. I received two quotes ranging from $5,000 to $5,400 for a full bimini and camperback. A little too high for me right now, I was hoping I could get something decent for around $3,500 - need to save a little more cash. Thanks for all your input. Dick

We just use an iphone/ipod speaker dock. They put out great stereo sound and volume and you can get one for under $100. If you don't have an iphone you may be able to find something similar that works with your phone. Dick

I would definitely buy another CD25. It's economical, sturdy, easy to just get in and go, and perfect for the way we use it. Right now, I have no desire for something different.
