I love my Wallace! 2008 22 and it still runs perfect. Often use for heat. We also carry a butane one burner for cooking as well.

What I learned was to always leave motor in center position when I shut off motor

Same thing happen to me on the dock on Denman island huge panic! Finally just nailed it with a lead weight full force and it just released! Oiled it up and hasn’t happened since!

hi, i am in courtenay and the proud owner of a 2008 22 cdory, had a 16 foot before this one. i wouldnt trade my cdory for anything! great boat for our waters. we cruise all around north island and often trailer it down to nanaimo or ladysmith for south island cruising.

I have a 2008 22 same thing. Not ‘failed’ yet but getting there. Plus the 2 step ladder is not easy. Let me know if you find a replacement!

Yes that is an odd setup. My 2008 has both batteries in the starboard lazerate bulbs and fuel filter in the splash well
