Another interesting product for anti-fouling, Prospeed

Here's another interesting product I saw on Boat Test. Propspeed is a coating for propellers and metal running gear as an alternative to anti-fouling (toxic) paint. https://www.boattest.com/Propspeed Since C-Dory's are outboards that can get the props out of the water not sure you need it...

Hey Mica, That trip sounds amazing. Hope you are documenting it:-) Love to see and hear about the adventure. I have no idea about the smart gauge and sure you're "Googled" it. But there is a series on you tube... maybe can help? https://youtu.be/vrxFdSEQVBU Kirk

Hi Boris, We've been on lots of Rangers, they are really nice vessels for sure. Much fancier than a C-Dory but I believe a little more work and up keep. We really like the 29 as well. But man... that would be a lot to tow. Maybe if once a year better off just having it done through a towing...

Hi Mica, PM or email any time with back questions. kirkart1@icloud.com I can send you pics of the devices in my back and neck. My doctor is Dr. Todd Lanman. We had to go to southern California for the surgery, Beverly Hills ever. At Cedars. He was also doing Eddie VanHelen's back at the same...

Hope you get yours too. If this market keeps going down we have a problem...aaarrrgggg. We'd like to be in position to order by end of this year to be ready for next year. Been talking to some other C-Dory's brats and got to thinking maybe starting with a 22 but we'll see how this year pans...

    Yamaha vs Suzuki

I raced motocross for over 30 years.... that was a time ago. Have had major back issues for 18 years. Very long story. But... I recently got my life back in a huge way. 2 months ago I had (2) artifical disc put in my lower back and (2) in my neck. There went my new C-Dory 25 down payment for...

John, love to hear those bagpipes:-) Micah - man, you must have some serious quads! Those guys that ski to Catalina, nuts, no thanks. Robert - yeah, 425 in a Dory... might need to add two sponsons in a pickle fork configuration:-) Not sure how this go into a speed discussion... gear heads:-)...

    Yamaha vs Suzuki

Yeah, not looking at a go fast boat. I don't see the Dory as that but as needed like you mentioned. Sure, some flat water, be nice to haul the mail if for nothing but fun:-) I suppose the test is leaning in favor of the Evinrude but they did change props andI thought they were WOT. I'll watch...

    Yamaha vs Suzuki

Wow.. that's a great endorsement right there. Good to hear that. The dealer in Mt. Vernon, Marty, really seemed to favor the Suzuki as well, I just thought was for other reasons but he said a lot of the same things so maybe not just a sales pitch:-) My Ford has one Powertrain Control Module...

    Yamaha vs Suzuki

That is good info. Thank you. All engines are computer controlled today and with that comes issues as we all know from our cars etc.... my F250 has 2 computers onboard. Oh man. I won't do anything but basically check oil, tire pressure and change wiper blades on our cars these days:-) And...

    Yamaha vs Suzuki

The evinrude weight numbers include oil that which is now internal. Very clean set up. 4-strokes have more torque off bottom but a 2-stroke has quicker acceleration. I don't see that as a plus or necessary on a C-Dory. I'm not in hurry. That video sure was interesting though. But keep in mind...
