Remember too that the dingy on a c-dory could be used as a life raft if needed. So quality would be a good option IMHO

Had the exact same problem on our old boat. Changed the thermostats out and problem fixed.

Cold water

I think I figured out how to stay on the water longer. We bought a trawler that burns 1.1 gph. Now I just need to figure out how to get more time. Time seems to always be over looked.

Rich has the chartplotter with all the locations for shrimping and fishing :) It took us 6 years and about $20K in gas to find them.
