Thank you all! I already feel more confident (not too) with the tools and advice provided. More than I had hoped for..exactly what I needed. After reviewing the information however, looks like I'm staying inside and drifting the inlet this weekend.

After spending several hundred dollars to get the fuel system and carbs of the Yamaha 100 cleaned out, I now use a stabilizer and run the engine dry after each run. Sounds like emptying the carb bowls is a good idea. Can you provide some simple instructions for this procedure? Thanks! I found...

Narcdawg...been there done that. Go to an automotive supply and buy "Break to Fit" wiper refills. One will do both. :smile

Certainly an exercise in relativity....I would be happy to just make it to the ramp on time, the motor start, the fish bite and then make it back to the ramp without this @@%$%& Yamaha %^%# breaking down. :amgry
