I bought my 1000 watt Honda from the same Wise Sales. Great prices and service.
I also saw the extended run tank they sell for $100.00. I use my generator to power my A/C and would like to run it all night. These Honda's run about 4-5 hours on a tank.
Does anyone know how these extended...
Does anyone have any experience with boat lifts? I have Hunky on one and am wondering if I might be lifting it wrong. I have had two 18' boats on it in the past. I have a cradle type lift that has two cross bars to support the boat. At the rear, right under the fuel tanks, I have a flat area...
I ordered my 22' with the dive platform and ladder. The ladder was way too short and hard to use. I bought a three step top mount from West Marine and it works great. It's alot easier to bring it up from up above as the last diver in always forgets to pull it up. I would think you could get...
The installation kit included everything. The seacock was a one inch. I lined the inside of the hole with epoxy and let it dry over night and then really gooped on 5200 on each side of the seacock. I wonder if this is something that should be removed and checked every year??
I do have a lift...
I installed the system myself. Took about two days. I have the 6,500 btu unit as it doesn't cost much more than the 5,000. I'm using a 1000 watt Honda generator. Their expensive ($650) but so quiet and only 29 lbs. I posted a bunch of pictures.
The Mermaid Marine AC (www.wrightmarine.net) works great! Craig hooked it up and we run it with a Honda 1000 generator, or shore power, either one. Note the return air vent and two cool air vents. The cabinet door can be opened to direct the air into the bed area.
Our weekly grocery trip to Cayman Brac can be a long ride when the water is rough and we have to slow way down. So Craig bought a DVD player to pass the time.
