    Honda BF40 flush

Just looked through my paperwork that came with the boat, I may have the 2006 Honda BF40 with carburetor model. Seems odd they would have fitted 06 motors on an 07 boat but seems likely. I just want to take good care of them, only have 340 hours on them and never been in the saltwater. Any advice?

    Honda BF40 flush

I'll have to take a closer look but don't remember seeing the black tubing. Their supposed to be 2007 motors.... thanks

    Honda BF40 flush

Getting the boat ready for Puget Sound, probably be in the water by the first of the year! Just thinking about the flushing of the twins after use, boat will be in the water at our slip. I know it should be flushed every time used but looking at the process for the Hondas, not liking the idea of...

    Hawse Pipe on C22

Hmmm, maybe a windlass is in my future.

    Hawse Pipe on C22

This seems like an odd question but do the C22's normally have the hawse pipe installed after manufacturing. The 2007 boat we just bought has no ground tackle or hawse pipe but does have a bow roller. Has anyone run into this? The chain locker below deck has a drain and looks like it as should...

    Just bought 22 Cruiser!

Thank you so much, looking forward to meeting our fellow brats and exploring more of Puget Sound. I have noticed that the boat we just bought doesn't have a hawse pipe over the chain locker, is this normal for the C22?

    Just bought 22 Cruiser!

We just closed the deal on a 2007 22 Cruiser that was listed on this site. Thank you ajudy for taking such good care of her. Some may know her as "C Sprite" formally from Wisconsin. She will have a new home in Des Moines, Washington and spend her time on Puget Sound. Really looking forward to...

    Outboard options

I've been in contact with Heinz and really like his C25, seems like a great setup. Hopefully we can pull this all together. Never had twins before...

    Outboard options

Thanks for the advice, I was thinking the twin setup might be best for us. Should make it more maneuverable in close quarters?

    Outboard options

After much deliberation, we have decided to look for a 25 cruuser. I'm seeing lots of options but looking for a preowned boat probably a little limited on which outboard. 115 Mercury, twin 90 Hondas, 130 Honda, or Yamaha. I'm partial toward Yamaha but not familiar with engines of this size. Any...

    Looking to buy C Dory

I really appreciate all your thoughts and advice, I think we're leaning toward the 25 as we will probably keep the boat at our marina slip and travel puget sound, San Juan islands and gulf islands. Can anyone tell me the total length of the 25 and 22 including railings, anchor pulpit and...

    Looking to buy C Dory

That sounds pretty good, I read somewhere of about a 300 mile range between fill ups. I think my wife would like having the enclosed head, we've been portapoti for many years. I'd like being able to put it up on the beach when needed, we have a dog. We've been sailboating about 30 years so I'd...

    Looking to buy C Dory

Thank for the advice. Not sure we'll trailer it much, mostly local waters. How about fuel consumption 22 vs 25? I can see us traveling all over Puget Sound.

    Looking to buy C Dory

Hello, my wife and I are nearing retirement and have decided its time to come in out of the weather from our sailboat and join those in the cabin where its warm. We live on Puget Sound and have ready access to the Seattle area and beyond so we want a boat that gives us the capability of...
