    22 cruiser throttle cable length

Yes, thank you I am considering a hydraulic steering system as well. Probably the baystar system with the hc4656h cylinder. The throttle cables were what was inquiring about tho. I guess pulling the old cables measuring the old length and adding a loop is the obvious answer. I was hoping someone...

    22 cruiser throttle cable length

Hello all, longtime cruiser looking for advice. I’m in the process of repowering my 22 cruiser from a Yamaha f80 to an f90, my question is how long should new cables be? I unfortunately can’t reuse the old cables as the new f90 has the cable attachment point on the opposite side as the old f80...

Planning for Our Grand Adventure - Parking in Prince Rupert?

Well I wouldn’t recommend launching at a low tide, this is manageable. I have left my truck and trailer for three weeks in port Ed with no problems but I suppose it’s the same as anywhere, don’t leave anything in plane view that you don’t want to lose and you should be fine. Port Ed is a good...

    Hammock for sleeping

I have also considered this. I wonder on a 22 cruiser if there is adequate room corner to corner in the cockpit if you secured one end to the stainless grab bar on the cabin and the other end to a length of tubing custom built to fit in a rod holder. ( my boat has rod holders quite far aft )...

Planning for Our Grand Adventure - Parking in Prince Rupert?

I would recommend launching your boat in port Edward. You can park your truck and trailer along the road with everyone else for free. The boat launch is also free. Been doing this for the last 15 years with zero problems. Port edwards is quiet in comparison to prince Rupert with less services...

launching and retrieving larger than 22 cruiser

I would have to say go for the 22 cruiser. Does everything well. A fully loaded 25 would be heavy for a 1500 even if its within its tow rating( twice the weight of a 22 cruiser ) and more of a handful to deal with on and off the trailer. The advertised weight of the 25 is roughly half of what...

    Engine still not performing

Well I think Bob nailed it. Some parameters that can and will have a considerable effect on the performance of your motor have changed. Go back to the same conditions with all things being equal to make a fair comparison of current performance levels as compared to previous performance levels.

    Dinghy motor storage

Sorry my boat is still in storage so no pic but I made a bracket out of aluminum angle iron and a teak mounting block and mounted it in the splash well on the port side. This location worked well for me because my trolling motor is mounted on the starboard side so no room there and my live fish...
