I would get an 8 hp as it idles smoother. Try them both and maybe look at other makes.

Happy to say the C-dory I had for sale on here has been sold to Troy Guy of Astoria area. I hope he has many happy hours of use from it. I just didn't make the time to use it. Good fishing and crabbing with it Troy.

I have found out that can not edit the original ad so there is a second 16 ft. listed with price. I do have pictures I can send and it has an ez-loader trailer. The price is $16000 USD's.

Just got my new "Good Sam Highways" magizine and it was talking about places and things to do. There was a picture of a C-Dory. Don't have the picture here in front of me or where it was at but will get it later today if people are interested.

I have found a silicon grease that is available at the auto-parts stores that I use. As I recall it comes in a 2oz. tube. I use it on snaps as well to keep salt -water or weather at the coast from making them difficult to use. Was told originally to use vaseline for it. Hope this is of help...

Interestingly enough I have the same problem with my 2002 16' angler also. It will be interesting what somebody comes up with. I have been worring about for the last 6 months :mrgreen: . I have even thought about removing the board? the is in the forward storage area. The wire is not available...

Yes I bought my used 16 foot angler there. They seem to be nice helpful people there. Just like anyplace else though you need to look out for your own interest. :smilep Clarence
