    Fault Codes With Wallas DTNordic

Always start and stop stove on high setting. Only run diesel, which sounds like you are. The "jet" gets clogged super easy. It's just the world's smallest stainless tube cut off. There's no actual jet. You'll have to take the tube out and run i think a #67 drill in it to clean it out...

    Seastar HC5345-3 rebuilt

I don't have any info on your issue exactly, but you should be able to pull the piston out and replace the seal. I do have quite a bit of experience on landing gear. I will say systems like we have are simple and the seals should be of a standard size and material. MIL-H 5606 (which is our...

    Canned Coho!

I agree. Canned albacore is amazing. Not sure how the big companies can ruin such a great tasting fish in those cans at the store. My crew caught just under 100 albacore this year. I'll start canning those soon!

    Canned Coho!

This is my second year canning salmon. Never before canned anything before last year. I'm using 1/2 pint wide mouth jars, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon oil, and about 1/8th teaspoon of powdered real smoke. It's delicious!

    Boat Name Sticker

To be clear, my crew and i did all the design, just hired signs.com for the decals only. I installed myself.

    Boat Name Sticker

I used signs.com. $150 for both sides. I'm impressed with the quality. 2 years outside and still looks new.

    Solar water heating project

Fascinating. I believe you've solved a problem for long term cruising or fisher folks who spend weekends on the boat without shore power that don't want a generator on board. Can you provide links to the heating element and solid state relay? I'm also trying to think of a way to get the...

    Tomcat self bailing issues

John, I looked in your album but didn't see the deck drain output on the outside of your boat. Please let me know if I missed it, I'm happy to help! Anyway, on my boat, the deck drain goes through a deck fitting, interconnect hose that is very short, then to the through-hull fitting where...

    Tomcat self bailing issues

I finally had a chance to run my boat offshore last weekend in the open ocean and I can say with complete confidence this part works. No, it can't fix the poorly engineered design of only a 2" delta between the deck and drain port, but the flapper I've designed and made keeps water out, and...

    Tomcat self bailing issues

I should mention, if anyone has any interest in making these flappers for your boat or you want to become a self made millionaire and print and sell these, PM me your email and I'll send you the file for free (if you're a C-Brat with more than a day of association).

    Tomcat self bailing issues

Hi John, Yours are probably just missing but at the back of the boat just right above the water line are the 2 deck drains, one port, one starboard. There should be a very stiff plastic disc in there that is screwed to the deck drain assembly. Most likely, there is what's left of a small...

    Tomcat self bailing issues

I finally solved the problem with this 3D printed part I made.

    Trolling moter instead of windless

I can't tell you what thrust is best for your boat. Each trolling manufacturer has a formula for telling you what thrust to get for your length and weight. Mine is 130 lb thrust with a 108" shaft. It is powered by 3 65 amp hour lithium iron phosphate batteries rigged into boat's house side with...

    Trolling moter instead of windless

I installed one. It's an absolute game changer for bottomfish. Pics in my album. Happy to answer any questions.
