Hello, Sorry for the loss of your dog. We boat with a Wheaten Terrier and the very loyal breed has no hair but has fur. No shedding at all. An occassional (2-3 month) grooming is all that is required. He loves the water and will sit around or play at the master's desires. Hope this helps.
