I think it's pretty heavily weighted and balanced around the outer edges, has a large center opening for the doubled up string, a supple high tech fiber string, and BALL BEARINGS!
At least it looks like it does anyway. I haven't seen one in years, myself.
Probably a NASA side project or something out of Lockheeds Skunk Works.
Or maybe the Japanese decided to copy the original design and came up with a few design improvements and manufacturing QC innovations. Then licensed the Chinese to build it for less and flood the world market. I wonder how Duncan Yo-Yo's stock is doing on Wall Street?

That is amazing. I, too, thought I was pretty slick stuff when I managed to walk the dog. I do wish the camera shots hadn't been so tight. It would be nice to see it with a little more perspective.

It is blissful, isn't it. And the dude has gray hair. I just grabbed the first site I came upon for the first post. It's a little grainy and herky-jerky.
