Guess I missed the boat

Finally showed HoJo today the 22 Cruiser I'm looking at

Never thought she'd be excited about another boat

Had a convertible cruiser once and she'd get sick every time she went down into the cabin

This little dory in calm water may change all that though shark.gif
 
We're hunkered down at the house

Plenty of lightning and thunder

Think I've spent one night at the camp...

since we got home from vaca last weekend

She's got so much crap on her to-do list

Been working on our master bath now for two months

Had to order five Kohler sinks from Lowes before I got two that were acceptable

And of course the girls even have Father's Day figured out for me

Making ho'made chicken and dumplin's for my youngest's birthday which is Wednesday frustrated.gif
 
Have had an ongoing thread on Adventure Rider for years

We had a great time with it for a long time too

But at nearly 60, enduro riding in the Ocala National Forest...

I went on vaca and when I came back

A moderator that used to come to my camp in Salt Springs had changed it to

Wednesday is my youngest daughter's 21st birthday

This is what I got her:

First two cartridges are shot shells

That will stop most anyone

I hope anyway
 
Used to always carry

But haven't in years

Now my daughter

That's a different story

She closes at Publix when not in school

And we don't live under the same circumstances these days
 
Used to hang with riders who'd fly through the woods on 50 hp motos

Now I find myself looking to

Pilot a two ton vessel with only another 20 horses

Just how exciting can that be after-all?

No longer own waterfront property due to ridiculously high taxes

So a small easily manageable trawler might fit the bill jkam.gif
 
Love the photo of your little girl at the beach, complete with the airline pin!

You and I are of similar age and I too would rip though the woods on my 450 Beta for thrills. Was very active on Adventure Rider as well. But there comes a time with things and interest change. Sold all the MC stuff and now the wife and I are really enjoying the C-Dory with many new places to explore.

Managed to ride all those years and never got hurt too bad

Not to say that guys with me didn't

And I really don't want to press my luck

You would have been over there in The Sandbox - AKA Flatistan! Didn't make it over there as there is sooo much to read and follow out west. Besides, with a handle like "Jack Daniels" I wouldn't have been able to keep up with you - drinking wise, who knows riding...

Yeah, I pushed it way too many times, broken ribs, two broken wrists at the same time, etc. My wife told me I only get one more emergency room visit until she insists I hang it up. Did it preemptively. However, I did take up Emtb riding, and wow, that is a bunch of fun and I definitely get my 2 wheel fix on them.

Used to have coordinating events with both Bikeweek and Biketoberfest

At my camp on Lake Kerr within the National Forest

We had an absolute ball

Debauchery at its finest :lol

KLR was ridden from LA

Would put two kegs in the barrels

And two were in that 400 quart cooler on my truck in wait

Finally sold the place, wish I hadn't

After retiring I tried to go up once a month

Didn't work out so

Bought camp only ten miles from my house

So much easier...

And cheaper
