This weekend it was so calm and cold in Bellingham, WA that a layer of ice formed in the Squalicum Marina where I keep my boat. The salt water didn't really freeze, but the overlaying freshwater lens from the local river did. Anyway, I was working on my boat on Saturday and I dropped my screwdriver. Instead of it joining all of my other tools, screws, nuts, and washers at the bottom of the marina, it bounced on the ice and I was able to retrieve it! That's what I call a silver lining!

And your beer stays cold!

Yes, as much as it truly pained me, I had to drink beer because my soda kept freezing. If had been much colder I would have had to bust into the ships rum.

Funny story with a great meaning!
Thanks for sharing it! :D :D :D

Whenever I work on a boat I always buy an extra screw, washer, nut or whatever for the water God.

I'm seriously considering dredging under my dock and opening a hardware store :xnaughty
