I just spent an hour looking in past threads, and can't seem to find any information. Does anyone out there know what wiper motor would be a direct replacement for the factory installed manual wipers in a 16 Angler :?:

No, but if you find anything, I for one would sure be interested! Those little manual wipers are a PITA!

The standard electric ones aren't much better. Why install a wiper that only covers about half the window?? And in intermittent wiper would sure be much better in mist and light rain. I've often wondered (as I switch the On and Off switch constantly) why C-Dory would install such an ineffective system on a boat.

There must be an intermittent wiper out there that doesn't work like something from The Flintstones!! Steve

When I owned the '99 Cruiser, I would apply Rain X on the windshield and that worked quite well. Even though the manual wipers are a "PIA", I always felt that they were better than nothing and after all, I purchased the vessel for its' "simplicity" and never anguished over the manuals.

(Try the Rain X.....I felt it was the "cat's meoww").

West Marine sells some wipers that look just like the ones in our 16. JC Whitney Co. sells the intermittent delay modules. I got one for each. They connect pretty easy but, the mist button didn't work. A little solder and a wire inside plus some electrical knowledge fixed that.

Well, thanks for the input guys. I was hoping someone had been down this road before so that I wouldn't have to re-invent the wheel. Once I get back to Michigan, I'll get to work on this project and share what I come up with.
