Winter projects on the go

Hey guys just wondering if anyone has winter projects on the go and would like to share them. The amount of great idea, pics and tip you get from forums is very helpful.

I have been working on a cooler mount for the stern of my c dory. I also have now completed the tackle/filet table in the cooler lid. I used the scotty marine well nuts to mount the table top to the cooler lid. I made both the cooler mount and table out of king starboard. The igloo yukon coolers have feet bolted to the bottom of them so I bought larger stainless bolts and bolted the cooler to the mount. The cooler has places to lock the lid so if you have your cooler full of beer it's now locked and bolted to the boat. Also don't have to worry about the cooler going missing on the ferry.

I saw that vise and thought the same thing...although Potter Water was thinking of a different sort of vice.... (porno etc.?)

Will that lower board clear when the motors are tilted up ??

Yes with the motors trimmed all the way up you can turn them side to side. The motors will not hit the board or the cooler everything in the pics is going to stay there permanently

Thanks I'm making head way I like To complete projects in the winter, I spotted the net holder idea on another post and I really like it. Cheap to do just need a 15degree stainless rod holder. This way the wet net is not dripping on your head or gear. Plus having the net forward helps avoid rod tip tangles in the net. I sealed all the balsa with expoxy and drilled oversize holes filled with expoxy so they should be safe from water.
