Winter Harbor BC 2018 thread

Thanks Tom, That sound doable, even though I'm not a fan of either dirt roads or beating up the boat when trailering, 30 mph seems reasonable.

Harvey,

On this trip all 3 boats elected for the run west out of Coal Harbor. A truck went with a full size freezer and other supplies. Usually the truck beats the boats by about 5 minutes

Dwight, Thanks. Coal Harbor seemed like a good approach. Some great water to explore from there before you get as far as Winter Harbor. I have not explored the wash down possibilities at Coal yet, and for me that is a fair priority. I have done the Salt Away in a sprayer, but that is less desirable.

Interesting timing between the boats and that truck.

Love that photo.

Harvey, there is freshwater hose at Coal Harbor to right of ramp. There is also one at QuarterDeck ramp area in Port Hardy. As far as a full car wash, the closest is Shell in CR

Thanks again, Dwight. Much appreciated. When I launched out of CR, I stayed at CR Storage and they have a nice wash area, as you probably know.
