Windshield wipers

I need to replace the rubber and the wipers themselves. The springs don't seem to pull the wipers to the glass. Is there a quick fix? Or should I just replace them both? They go back and forth, just don't touch the glass.

I had that problem with mine. Just go thru and clean and lube every moving joint and my guess is it will be just fine.
 
I had to lube the joints on mine to get them to draw down tight again also.
 
Take one of your wipers off. Take it to a NAPA auto parts store and match the size. You might be able to upsize by 1/2" or 3/4" in length. You'll have to mix and match mounting hardware but they will fit and are less expensive than getting blades from a boat supply.
While you are putting the new blades on, lube everything like the others advise.
