Windshield Wiper problem???

My window swipes worked fine last year when I parked the boat. Now they do not work. I have replaced the fuse, checked the switch, hot wired them to a known 12V DC supply......nothing.
Any ideas???? Rainex is going to be used until they are fixed.

your wiper shafts are set up. cold weather and water have set up the grease on the shafts. maybe a little salt water and corrosion too. mine got so bad that I had to cut off the nut that held the arm on. Start by soaking the shaft with a lubricant spray. soak it for a few days and then try to get it off. I had to run the wiper motor back and forth with a wrench a couple dozen times until it would run on its own. In the end I got one wiper to brake loss and run, the other got replaced.
 
Working on those motors is a real bugger. I think they installed the motors first and then glassed on the top of the cabin.
I will try your suggestion in soaking the shafts. Thanks.
