Patty here. Well, we need to have the glass in the center window replaced because the seal has been broken almost from the beginning. I contacted Diamond SeaGlaze in Canada and the cost of a new window from there is absolutely prohibitive---$500 plus customs and shipping charges. We've talked about taking the window to an autoglass place---it looks like we can get the window out. Does anybody have a better idea?
Pat, knowing how these DIY projects work for you, please have Patty take sequential photos as you remove the window....by the way how large of a sledge hammer are you planning on using?
Tom, with the price of DSG windows , any smart manufacturer would use the "just[not quite] in time"ordering system and carry no inventory.
Its the way of the world these days . Unless you are government.

marc you are right but with the way the factory was ran in the last year I doubt they where that good. also they came to a stop rather fast stop and might just have something. worth the call. "better to have called and lost then never called at all" some old english guy...
They were a victim of zero orders . They had a pretty sharp guy at the helm , but with nothing to build ,no reason to staff or stock .They built the best boats we had seen in a while...... The boat company reshuffling and attrition industry wide isn't over yet.....
