I use shortcut keys routinely and the following is a good starting point. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/hel ... -shortcuts

You seem to know your Win 10 stuff so I have a related question:

In Fiirefox (I know I could switch to something else but don't want to) when I post a multi paragraph response to some forums it puts in two LFs between the paragraphs. Same thing happens with Windows Mail. FWIW this forum doesn't do that.

In the past I found this can be fixed with a simple control key that turns off the extra LF. But I can't find it. Or is it related to the forum software. The site administrators swear it is my problem.

Can you help?

Latest Win 10 and latest Firefox. Fwiw, it only seems to happen on vBulletin forums but oddly also on Mail emails.

O well, I’ll just keep posting spaced out paragraphs.

I am not copying or pasting. When I type a message on a vBulletin forum and I am at the end of a paragraph, I hit return and start a new paragraph. It looks fine on my screen but when I send the posting it comes out with two LFs.

I can go into the Advanced feature while typing the message and there it handles the LFs fine. When I start with the quick reply screen, type a few paragraphs and then go to the Advanced input screen it shows the extra LFs. It only happens when I type a message on the quick reply screen.

But to answer your original question when I copy and paste text I use the thumb tablet on my keyboard, the left button to highlight and the right button to copy. Same with paste.
