I just realized (I'm a little slow!) that Byrdman hasn't posted since 5 August! That isn't like him.

Hope you're OK Pat, please chime in and let us know!

NOTICE TO MARINERS::::: The Byrdman is alive and well,,sitting in my living room watching TV. Will try to get him to post an " I'M ALRIGHT" later tonight or tomorrow.
2200 miles in 4 1/2 days turkered us out so we are "chillin" till we start south back to Nashville Tuesday AM.

Good Day to all! Yes, I am alive and doing great...but tired a bit. Like Terry/Last Dance indicated....the last few days have been on the road getting another hull from Halifax. She is a beauty, with an empty cabin....and my mind is only going about 2000 knots with ideas and dreams. I also had a great opportunity to get on one of Bob Rosborough's RF22s...and it was set up a bit like our CD22 Anglers...but, like the RF-246 it was set up with a motor mount aft, an Armstrong bracket in this boats case, and wow... the room difference was awesome. Nice deep (vertical head room) in the V-Berth too, much like the RF246, but not the 5'8" of head room, but it is a 22' boat. Road out very much like the RF246. Warrants some time and attention.

Much space and distance in Maine to Halifax with hardly any cell coverage...and if you get hooked up while going down the interstate...you may have a 1.5 to 2 minute conversation prior to gettng dropped. Wireless hookups are also similar....when moving.

Resting up a day here at Terry's house (no snow or snow blowing machine to play with this time of year), and will be dragging the boat to the Nashville area on Tues/Wednesday of next week.

Thanks to those who posted that I had been in contact with....and did talk with Bill and Ell for a spell....Halcyon is fine, but in some dead zones too....but loving life on their boat and looking forward to seeing other C-Brats soon.

Byrdman Out for Now!!

Thanks Charlie!

Thanks Fella, glad you're OK. Yes Maine is a big state when you drive it from North to South, or more correctly, Southwest to Northeast! Once we cross the border in Portsmouth, we're still 5+ hours from our place in Machias!

The RF22 sounds neat!
