Where to fish on Sunday in Area 10

I would like to take my 9-year old boys fishing tomorrow in the CD22 somewhere near Bainbridge Island.

I am hoping that i can glean some suggestions for the time and places to go and any current/local knowledge of what type of fishing we might try tomorrow based on what is currently running. What bait/lures? What depth?

We'll be angling and jigging mostly, though I do have a down-rigger as well as a diver-down to use.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks.,
john

Jeff Head on the south east corner of the island can be very good for kicking out a fish or two. Trolling a green spatter back hoochie just off the bottom is a proven fish getter Best on the slack.

Go out at 6 am and head toward Shilshole Marina and look for charter boats fishing the area. They are right outside the marina, literally! They have been hitting the run of pink salmon, humpies, going through the area. Mini pink squid with red 2/0 hooks 20" behind a white flasher or silver or white 0 dodger. Troll slow. Start at 30 feet and work down 10 feet each hour. Ask the charters, they will also tell you how deep.

we had a work function with a charter this week and ran a green splater and cookies and cream kingfisher spoons about 3ft behind green flashers around here: 47.740478,-122.475269 in 120ft of water bouncing bottom. picked up one king and had a few bites.

Dont forget the crab pots
