What model AFI wiper?

My boat came with AFI wipers and I need to adjust the sweep. Both move inboard about a 1/4" too far and jam the end of the wiper blade against the window frame. I've been to the AFI website and the directions for adjustment are included in the documentation for the various wipers but I have no idea which model is used in the C-Dory. The cover shows no model number. Is there a model number located somwhere inside the housing?

Any help appreciated!
 
A pair of nippers or a small saw will fix that problem quickly:)
 
Mine needs adj. also, but can't get the arm of the wiper Stud. I Looked for a set Screw but don't see one. I am overlooking something??

You know, I hadn't thought of that. I'll have to take a look at the blades and see if that might be possible. Thanks!
 
I believe they are AFI 1000 model, at least on my vintage boat (2006).

I have a 1989 22' and was told that electric wipers on the bottom of the window would mess up my compass to bad to use it.

Anybody have motor on bottom and can say how much it affects the compass ?
