What happened to "Slideshow" in the albums?

I used to be able to do a "slideshow" in the member or forum picture albums. That option seems to be gone. Has it "moved" somewhere? Anyone else have that problem? Saves time...

I had to remove it a few weeks ago.

Unfortunately, several folks figured out how to bypass the default configuration, that prevented indefinite looping of a slideshow. Add to that, I had quite a few incidents where people were slideshowing the entire top-level C-Brat owners album, looping through every picture, in every album.

Both of these behaviors cause huge loads on the server, and rapidly eat up our allotted bandwidth. Back when our albums were numbered in the 10's, and our total pictures in the 100's, this was no problem.

An unfortunate side-effect of growth here...sorry.

Hate to bring it up again, but the Slide Show feature is gone again, for me at least.

Is this true for others?

Too bad it had to be eliminated. It was a great way to browse through an interesting album!

* Sometimes/somehow posts get checked as read that have not been read. I guess that is because log-in dates/times are used to determine what could have been read, not what you actually read based on a checklist and accounted for (?).
