Just a quick note to let you know that I and Joyce are proud to announce that our son (Roger Jr) was just accepted at Reed College for the Fall semester of 2006. He's worked pretty hard this year (and the past few) in high school and will be completing his International Baccalaureate degree at Inglemoor H.S. this spring. In spite of ignoring (or perhaps because of ignoring) my advice on his essays and college applications, he was accepted into the college of his choice. He received the notice via email last night and I haven't seen him this excited about anything for the past year or two. :D

Now, we just have to fork out about a boat/year worth of money for 4 years....

Just wanted to share,
Roger

Sheesh, you should have said something earlier, I could have pulled some strings and got him into the diesel program at the Community College down here. :) He's going to like Reid, I got a niece going there and she gives it a thumbs up...keep in mind Reid is just phase one, once done there you'll have to pungle up more dough for Harvard, Yale or Oxford but upon completion you can levy a heavy offspring tax

Great news Roger. Good deal on him being an advanced student and finishing in 4 years too..... Sherryl is VC of Student Affairs....and she indicates a "general" average of 5 years ..... so 4 is good too!! I know you are proud as you should be.
