Welcome Sportcraft!

Mike and I are pleased as punch, to welcome Sportcraft Marina as our latest sponsor/advertiser at the C-Brats. For those of you who don't know them, they are a long-time C-Dory dealer, based in Oregon City, OR.

Many of you have dealt with Ryan Bigbee and others at Sportcraft, and I'm not sure I've ever seen anything but a glowing review about them here. One advantage of us having very limited advertising space available, is our ability to only place folks up top we know and trust.

Sportcraft is at the Portland Boat Show this weekend - if you happen to be heading there, make sure and pop in to their booth and give them a warm C-Brat welcome.

I dropped by the show on wednesday and was surprised to see they had the COMPLETE line of C-Dory and Ranger tugs, including the 29. That had to be very expensive to put them all in that one show. And as usual it was quite crowded at their display. Way more so than at Mumba or Ski Nautique and the rest of those wake makers. While I was there I dropped by the Pursuit display. Nice boats but certainly not layed out for the northwest. And the forward cabins were just caves. I was really surprised.

I've driven to SportCraft twice to buy outboard engines. (4.5 hours one way) Always good prices, no sales tax and great service. Welcome!

You sure they had the R-29? I think you're mistaking it for the CD-29. Nonetheless, fine people. We came very close to buying an R-25 from them for a spectacular deal.

To Larry and Ryan Bigbee, a hearty welcome. Have you folks moved to the new location on McLaughlin yet? I need to make an appointment to bring the engines in for preventive maintenance.

To all the CBrats who haven't worked with Sportcraft, I have greatly appreciated their straight forward business model and excellent service.

:D I'm glad Sportcraft Marina is helping out on this site! They're Great!
Not only did I get a good deal on my Venture, their aftersale service has been outstanding - AND that's been an extra effort for them, since we're about 800 miles away.

Ryan thought he would be able to fit a rear steering station on my boat and Sportcraft made it happen. What an asset for fishing the kelp paddies that we see in Southern California.

Welcome Sportcraft Marina!

I was watching Portland TV clips about the rain/flooding and they had a clip on the boat show. Saw a C-Dory peeking from behind a folding party barge -- strikes me the reporter was on the wrong boat!

We also visited Sportcraft when we were considering buying a C-Dory years ago. They were great folks, allowed us to have a test drive, answered our many questions, and were a big help in our decision to buy a C-Dory. Welcome aboard to a fine outfit - one we whole-heartily recommend.

My wife and I purchased our fine dory from the folks at Sportcraft. Anyone looking that these fantastic little ships should consider them. They have always been the best to work with. True customer service folks!

I must add that ALL of the folks at Sportcraft Marina are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Been visiting them since around 1998. I purchased a 50 hp Honda from them in 2000 for my 18 foot jon boat. They did a wonderful job of maintaining it over the years till we bought our C-Dory from a private party in 2005 and then they helped maintain our 90 hp Honda.

Enjoyed seeing them last Saturday and Thursday night at the boat show!

Welcome Sportcraft!!!!

Thanks for the all the nice comments! I really appreciate it. We have (of course) been monitoring and sending all potential C-Dory customers to this site since its inception. We know its value and are very happy to be advertising here. Steve: We are trying very hard to be in the new store around mid February. The service we can take care of a soon as you're ready. If you, or someone else here would like a free ticket to the PDX show this weekend, give the shop a call (503-656-6484), we have some extras.
Thanks again.
Ryan

Folks -Sportcraft Marina is as good as it gets. Bought my first 22' C-Dory from them, plus Honda 90, 25, 8 and a couple 2 hp engines. Best service I have had anywhere. I made so many trips to Sportscraft, that when dad Larry or son Ryan saw me coming, they would find someone else to wait on me. Didn't want to get trapped in an hour long conversations telling them what a good product they sold. Can't blame them. The spell of the C-Dory had me babbling like an adolescent girl. John

Dee and I purchased our 2005 CD 25 new from Sportcraft and it was a very positive experience. We have been back to see them for parts, service and a 3 hp Suzuki for our tender and they have always been there for us. Last weekend at the Portland Boat Show we visited with whole gang including Ranger Jeff and they had a very nice display of boats. Ryan gave us one of the new C-Dory brochures. Hood Graphics did a very nice job on them for CD.

Just saw the first flash of the Sportcraft ad, (top right corner). Nice, and god folks. From way back had assistance with another boat they carried there. Excellent folks.

Question. Is there a way to go directly to the advertiser of your immediate choice from this site. Like a link somewhere. I am thinking there was but was just looking and missed it.

Thanks,

Harvey
