This was my first season with my 1991, 22' Cruiser. It sat in the water for several months and when I hauled it out it was clear that the stern sits evenly submerged at least 5 inches above the painted waterline. The motor lower housings (90hp and 8hp) also sit slightly below the water when tilted up completely. This is an issue with the 8hp when not in use as I have to ensure the transmission is locked in reverse as the prop is partially submerged at all times. I have the usual 15 gal. tanks and no other significant weight except an enclosed SS and canvass cockpit enclosure. Any advice ?
