Veterans Day

I wanted to take a minute and salute not just the folks you read about doing the hard dirty work in Afganistan and Iraq but those doing their duties in the unpubisized places. Here are a few:

The US Army 1st Support Battalion. These folks work in the Sinai as part of the Camp David peace agreement.

Marine Rifle Company Windward: These folks are on the perimeter guarding Guatanamo.

Eareckson Air Station, Shemya Alaska: Airfield at the end of the Aleutians Islands

I salute all veterens for there service.

I saw the bumper sticker, "If you love your freedom, Thank a Vet". Tomorrow I will call both of my brothers-in-law, (US Army 67-70), my father-in-law, (US Navy WWII, Pacific) and tell each of them Thank you again, for being great Americans, fine roll models, and best friends.

Again, I want to say thank you to every vet, every service and any year.

Salute!

Remember, 11th Month, 11th Day, 11th hour, 11th Minute
