Vancouver area transient slips

Sunset Marina is in "West Vancouver" and has good parking space, a reasonable launch ramp and it is not "downtown".

Parking, launch and park are open 24/7 and accessible year round.

Although I have not use any I know there are a number of marinas that offer transient moorage in the False Creek/Coal harbour area of Vancouver. Probably your best bet would be to contact the Vancouver Boaters Welcome Centre They would have the best current info on Marinas and launch ramps.
As well check out the The Boater Blue Pages . They will have listing of all marinas in and around Vancouver.
There is only one launch ramp that I know of right in the city of Vancouver at Vanier Park. It would put the boat right in False Creek by Granville Island. It is a good ramp and has (usually) enough parking. It does however require traversing city and residential streets for 30 mins or so. But then, getting anywhere in Vancouver requires traversing city streets. Launching is free but I don't know the current price of parking or how secure it now is. Its been 5 or 6 years since I launched there. I actually met MartyP there about 10 years ago when he was visiting Vancouver when he walked up and talked to me cause I had a C-Dory. :lol:

French Creek Harbour Authority and Quayside Marina are your best bets in French Creek. Coal Harbour Marina in Coal Harbour is top notch but expensive. Both Coal Harbour and French Creek are good locations.

Coal Harbor (Harbour, if you please) is ideally located but costs an arm and a leg...and another arm!
