Update with my dinghy testing. (Sounds profound) I didn’t get the best pictures. But they display how the dinghy fits in the C-Dory 22 cockpit and how we got it from the water inside the boat. No lift, just using a fender tied to the stern of the dinghy, couple of towels, and painter tow line. Pulling it up in the vertical position was no problem then down on its stern resting position for the transit. This is totally fine for us. To launch it, we lifted it vertically to the gunnel and let it fall into the water. Success.
