Trying to get to EQ Marine

Friday I was going to go see Les while I was in the area but the road was closed. It looks like going across Deception Pass can be even harder in a vehicle.

Man, what a day! The wind was howling for sure. Just after 0900 we lost power when a couple of trees came down across Cornet Bay Road and we didn't get it back until 9:00 last night. Sure makes life interesting!

Must have been a pretty good blow. They had a picture in the Fairbanks paper of the truck laid over on its side, extended halfway over the railing on the Deception Pass Bridge. Pretty impressive as well as scary.
