Does anybody have any recommendations for truck and trailer parking in La Paz? Marina de La Paz says they will likely have space but will not reserve.

Truck and trailer parking in La Paz

I was last in La Paz Marina in 1995, with my Cal 46. (Anchored out). That area has changed so much! Security would be an issue and I would want a secure locked compound to store my truck and trailer.
Here is a link which covers La Paz and other ramps. This should be fairly up to date.. I might consider some other areas just because of security.
I have always liked Vagabundos del Mar Which is a boating club of long standing for Mexico. Their information should be very up to date.
I have an American contact in Guaymas, who will know about the ramps and storage around that area. There have been safety concerns in Mexico which have changed recently--and I would double check before you enter. We have cumulatively been in Mexico about a year total time over our boating careers, covering both Pacific, and Western Caribbean shores. We only had one incident in Acapulco where gunfire was involved. No other major issues. I have a friend who is on Isla Mujeres currently, and he says all is fine there. (A long way from La Paz and in a very protected area.)

I was on the vagabundos webstite a few months ago and there was an announcement that the organization was undergoing some changes and it sounded to me like they were not functional any longer. Since they have a paid service I sent an email to inquire about the stability of the club which was not answered. It looks like they might have made it through the difficult situation, what ever it was.

I've been in Marina de la Paz many times over the last 20 years, never needed secure parking though as we always leave boat and trailer in San Carlos, Sonora.
The parking spaces inside the gated area are limited especially with a trailer but they might be able to squeeze you in, Neil is very accommodating once you are actually there on the spot vs. trying to make reservations ahead of time. Same thing for slips, the only reservations he will take are for long term slip holders
There are several boatyards and small marinas adjacent to MLP that would be a good option for storing the trailer.
I agree that a secure storage is a must for peace of mind if nothing else.
