Not an endorsement, but I've tried lots of products in an attempt to restore some of the finish on my boat that sat uncovered in the water since 1988. I ran across a product from a local guy advertising "shineononline". http://shineononline.com/
I had them come to my house and demonstrate the product, and decided to have him do a detailing. The product "wipes" on and doesn't require buffing out. It came out quite well. Here is one of the photos of my boat after the detailing -- I'm quite pleased. Hope it'll stand up to my trip to Vancouver Island in a couple of weeks. Thought some might be interested. Regards, Ron

Very nice! Thanks, Ron.

I'd be interested to see how the shine holds up after you run the boat in the water. Pls keep us updated.

If you don't mind commenting on it sir, what was the cost of the Shine On detailing?

Could you have purchased the product directly to be applied yourself?

Enjoy your Vancouver Island cruise.

Tanks,
Dan

That was the cost to have it done -- $14/ft. The cleaner, shineon product, and remover package cost is $99. It is 1 qt. of each and is supposed to do a 30 ft boat. If you click on the link, I think the details are there.

I used the poly glo system for the first time with incredible results. Great product and great people to deal with.
