Travel lift;

The salt water is very hard on the brakes, all four brake adjusters were froze up due to corrosion after only 5 trips. Lot's of work to keep up with it all. Anyone know where there is a travel lift on the west side of the sound, from Gig Harbor north? Be worth the fee to keep the trailer out of the brine. Thanks......Buck.

Buck, obviously I'm unable to answer your question re: the location of a sling type launch in Virginia (since I'm in Washington State), however the following info may help you.

At the conclusion of washing my boat and trailer after a "dip" in salt water, I spray a product called "Salt Away" on the brakes. (I also use salt away to flush the engines).
Once in a while a person will find launch ramps that have hose bibs conveniently placed where you can hose your trailer off after launching your boat and again rinsing your boat and trailer after the retreival process and even flushing your engines before dragging your rig home. Whenever I find a launch ramp facility that provides that "special touch", I definitely use it. (It gets rid of that salt water crud before it dries!)

Did not make my self clear, sorry;
I mean Puget Sound, Gig Harbor north. I have looked around half way up the sound and have not seen one on the west side.....Tx.

There's one in Port Huneme ...(Oxnard area of California).....but I think I will just stay away from that item....... just ask Roger (Fishtales) his chines got cracks in em... and when he had them ground open found voids in the chines... between the fiberglass and the fiberglass there were huge air bubbles..... looks like the guy at the factory that was supposed to roll out the fiberglass in the chine area was on lunch break.... sure hope it was just his boat that happened on...... Uah !!!
