I have an EZ Loader aluminum trailer that is about two years old. There is some surface rust forming on some of the parts....back of the wheels, some of the hardware, etc.

Is there a good way to remove the rust? I have used naval jelly on tools for rust. What about ways to prevent it in the future, or at least slow it?

Thanks,

Rob

Does your trailer have s/s U bolts if not the glav ones will rust if you need to adjust use PB Blaster spray this will dissolve the rust so you can get the bolts to open . rust on the disc brakes disc can be removed just by driving it around post some pictures so we can help good luck

Surface rust on the Stainless steel (which is what should be used on an aluminum trailer) is common. If you want to remove it, consider using "Rust away". You might put Beoshield T9 to prevent rust..but usually surface SS rust is not a structural problem.
