I miss that beautiful boat. When we moved to the dry side of Oregon, I didn’t think we would be doing much boating, but such is life. I am really pleased you’re taking good care of it. The plan to convert the trailer brakes to EOH is a good one. We had fifteen years of enjoyment with her, hopefully you have that much and more.Hi Wandering Sagebrush.
I pull your old boat all over SW WA. I have not had any issues with no stopping power. I do not tow over 65MPH and mainly stay at 60mpg. I also as a rule leave enough room following other traffic as a safety factor. I am definitely looking at converting to electric over Hydraulic brakes for next season.
Thank you for taking excellent care of the C-Dory. Everything has for the most part been trouble free. Just added a Maxwell windlass. (Love it so far.)
