Top reasons to attend a C-Brat Gatheriing/Cruise

I thought I'd start a new thread on the top reasons to attend a C-Brat gathering. I'm hoping that will have both heartfelt and creative comedy postings (Letterman like).
My top reason takes a little set-up. I got home mid afternoon Sun. from a great gathering at Cathlamet and had this driving urge to clean the boat. Sure there was some road grime from 4 hours of trailering in the rain but there was another reason too. This was my second C-Brat gathering and once again, present were several boats that were older than mine that looked better. Hence my to reason is

* To develop the necessary guilt to take care of my boat the way I should.

Of course there are lots of other great reasons, I'll leave it to all of you to fill in the thread.

1. To follow Helen o around and learn how to fish.
2. To see all the master wood working idea's on the tyboo, why knot, etc..
3. If I tell the wife its a cruise, then it does not count a a fishing trip.
4. To demonstrates my lack of etiquette by showing up for dinner late.
