Chuck, you may have hit on something here. I have only seen these sold for Diesel use. A little pricey but ready to go out of the box. Wonder how you transfer the fuel or do you just plug in the fuel line.

My guess would be to get the fitting for your motor and just plug it in replacing the supply line from the regular tanks. When empty (enough) change to the regular fuel tank and move the aux tank out of the way. Remember - KIS

Here in Fl. and for many boat manufacturers all over,the go to company for fuel tanks is RDS in Perry , Florida . Nice folks , have OEM replacement patterns for a zillion boats , and will custom build to your specs and ship.

Hey all, not sure if this helps or not but:

I recently had to replace my fuel tank selector due to corrosion. I replaced it not with a two way selector but a 3 way selector. Obviously the port and starboard tanks take up two of the three "port". On the 3rd "port" I have connected a length of fuel hose with a standard portable tank barb.

Basically this allows me to be able to draw from a portable tank in addition to the on board fuel tanks. I saw this as a great standby method and have two different types of barbs on board in case I need to borrow a tank.
