B~C
Well, we've just about finished on-loading most of the accomodating equipment and personal items required for a floating home/bordello/assylum (sic).
Can't believe the checklist. Started at 161 items, and then I lost count! Reminds me of a recurring, endless, entrapment dream! Unfortunately, however, not of the sexual variety!
AND I'm on a treadmill down to the boat and back with 92 steps! Think each round trip takes 3 months off the end of my life. Will have to quit this soon and take up smoking, which will be a lot less life shortening.
Once it's all on board, I'll have to sell the house, as all the stuff will be on the
Sea Ray instead. I'm hiring a diver to draw on the new waterline as we speak.
I'm taking the C-Dory to Eagle Lake for trout fishing this weekend, Sat.-Tues.
Staying in a lakefront motel at almost $200/night. The fishing's hot, with the big Eagle Lake Rainbows right up in the shallows and tules. The mornings should be crisp at 5.200 ft elevation. Mike will have nothing on me with his cold wind and rain!
I'll be pulling the Sea Ray out when we get back to have all the service work done on the engines, outdrives, etc. The mechanic/technician owns his own service business and has serviced this boat in the past exclusively from it's first launch. Inspires a nice feeling of confidence for me.
How are you doing with your half of the task, namely recruiting young college age girls for our financial adventure? Doing some interesting "interviews"?
Joe.
