The ubiquitous C-Dory

While just now reading, "A Cruising Guide to Puget Sound and the San Juan Islands" by Migael Scherer, I noticed this passage in the Preface:

"Instead of exporing with a heavy-displacement sailboat and an inflatable dinghy, I scouted every cove, harbor, and channel in a 16 foot C-Dory. ...a smaller and faster boat gave me a fresh perspective on Puget Sound."

When you look at the scope and detail of this guide, you can see she spent alot of time in the 16 foot C-Dory!

Migael's 16 was also one of the 2004 Seattle Boat Show Boats that C-Dory had on display. In fact all of the boats there that year were C-Brats.. We had Migael's 16, the Mar-T the 19, the Laurna Jo the 22, Bess-C,the 25 and and Sea Salt (?) Dusty's TomCat that year.
That was the show that really got the attention of the Factory
about the C-Brats.
