Aurelia just posted on the Bellingham gathering thread about 1.9 ft of water at a 9ft marked spot on the Swinomish Channel. There's going to be more of that in the future as the channel no longer qualifies for government dredging. So...a word to the wise, be extra careful when negotiating that channel, especially from La Conner toward Skagit Bay.
 
It would be a good idea not to run South of LaConner without at least a +2' or more.
