I'm trying to contact Ron from the C.Dory "Meander".
Any help would be appreciated.
I'm calling from Ontario regarding photos from the summer of 2009 at Big Chute on the Trent Severn....Alan

His last post was 25Oct09. I just sent him a PM to let him know you are looking for him. He is listed under Ron on Meander in the memberlist. You can find him there and PM him yourself, asumming he is still reading C-Brats.

Thank you.
Negotiating the Member List is not easy so my task is a work in progress but I've come this far and I don't give up easily....Alan

Thank you, Sea Wolf.

I'm as close as I can get right now. I've exhausted all the tips and sent Ron a personal message. I'm just waiting to see if he responds. If not, I think I'm up to Plan G by now and I'll try another approach....ay

Ron, posted a note that he was headed south last fall. Newly retired, and off to do some exploring, well, meandering, if you will. Seems like he was expecting a year or so of travel, maybe into Mexico if I remember right.

Thank you,
If that is the case I guess we'll be stalled for a bit. I'm convinced that this will have a happy ending but I guess I don't have control over when that ending happens.
I'm sure that Ron will check in eventually and, at that time, he'll discover the "sea of activity" here. He has a couple of personal prompts waiting and I've tagged him all over the place...Cheers....Alan

Not sure why... but this theard made me wonder about George and Penny on Wanderer too... I still enjoy that video gizmo clip they sent us from the Inside Passage trip on their CD22

Well, Ron posted these pictures on Feb. 10: Meander's Trip Great pics.

I spoke with Penny last year and she told me that they were coming to Marathon, Fl in the winter...but not bringing the boat....it seems that George has discovered "Golf"....and he has been bitten to the core. So if the boat dosesn't have a driving range, then you won't be finding him on it anyways soon.

That's my story and I am sticken to it.

Thanks Mike! George and Penny joined myself and some others on their maiden vouge on their CD22 on the Cumberland River. After about 3 days on the river... Penny found out that FreeByrd had hot/cold shower on the transom and she about broke her leg gettting to her goody bag for her favorite shampoo for a good head washing. I think I could have gave her a key to some city....and the hot water head washing she enjoyed more. Great folks and George sure takes some great photos.

That would be a very nice boat for someone if they still have it.

Oh, George and Penny still have Wanderer, but as mentioned, George has "found Golf."

They bought a place here in The Villages (about 20 miles south of Ocala, FL) last Fall and have been splitting their time among their homes. We see them on a regular basis,

George has made some comments about The Great Loop, but since that would Significangtly cut into his golf game I wouldn't make any bets!

Their both fine, and living Large!

Best,
Casey

(currently on the St. Johns River at Hontoon State Park marina (...and enjoying the Yellow Heroin of ELECTRICITY !!) Last night was DAMN COLD!!

Well I've certainly been a slacker! Thanks for checking up on us. Our last 5 months of travel have been mainly in BC and without Meander so I haven't had a lot of C-Dory things to post.
After about 14 months of travel we are once again settling down. We are buying a house in Powell River BC. Which many of you have passed by or stopped in on your route north. We certainly look forward to greeting any C-brats stopping in Powell River and plan to be at the Friday Harbor and the BC CBG's.
Cheers
Ron

Hey Ron,

Good to hear from you again. Looking forward to the Friday Harbor gig too. And someday, we'll do some circles off your seaside view, waiting for a wave.

Thank you to those who helped to establish a "fix" on Ron. We've been in contact and the photos have been sent. This is a great site and a great communication tool....Alan
